Return is a methodical construction of the approach of an individual towards an unseen goal, which assumes metaphorical significance. Viola moves toward the camera/viewer, pausing every few steps to ring a bell, at which point he is momentarily thrust back to his starting place, and then advanced again. Finally reaching his destination, he is taken through all of the previous stages in a single instant and returned to the source of his journey.

The story of Charlotte Brown,a waitress and young single mother who will do anything for her daughter Jenny, and when push comes to shove, she does. With a menacing figure on the other end of the phone and a time limit of two hours,she must raise enough money to ensure that she sees the smiling face of her child again. Q & Q

While the residents of Runichem are busy preparing for the approaching centenary, an art theft takes place in a villa. The same evening, an officer is shot at an alcohol check. When Wilbur tries to call home from the community center that night, the phone interferes and he hears a fragment of a conversation related to criminal activities. Wilbur and his friend Aristides decide to investigate this mysterious case, with the help of Akkie, daughter of inspector Swaan, and grandfather Quarles. This film is based on the second season of the Dutch tv series 'Q & Q'.
