Cheer Chen Songs of Transience Live 2015

At the end of 2013, Cheer Chen released the last album in her Flower trilogy. Titled Songs Of Transience, the singer-songwriter's sixth album features her signature poetic style and introspective looks at humanity, philosophy and life. Both in support of the Flower trilogy and in celebration of the 15th anniversary of her debut, Cheer then embarked on a pan-Asian tour, and her artful, musically wondrous performance has been captured on this home video release.

Long Distance Runner

György Schirilla, known for his long-distance running and swimming across the icy Danube, ran to Moscow to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. A year later, a bistro was built in his honour in the small Hungarian village of Kenderes. Gyula Gazdag captured moments of his run to Kenderes and the opening ceremony. The film's original title comes from a "poem" delivered by the village council president, which included the line: "We can always count on your long run."

Meet Me at Dawn

A young man makes his living in Paris in 1900 by fighting duels on behalf of other parties. He is hired to injure a leading politician and starts to get involved with a girl he uses to provoke the challenge. One newspaper, hostile to the politician, headlines the story of the impending duel asking who this Madame X is. Problem is, she is in fact the daughter of the paper's proprietor if only he knew it.
